Air flow meters play a critical role in any area where air flow control and monitoring are required. Flow meters are used in many areas, such as heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems (HVAC), environmental monitoring, greenhouse and agricultural irrigation systems, and in thermal power plants to improve combustion efficiency. Gas meters, rotameters, and flow meters are the basic types of flow meters.
The calibration of air flow meters is carried out in our laboratory using a system that provides a specific air pressure and a precise reference flow meter for comparison. The calibration measurement range is 0.006 L/min – 300 L/min, and the process is conducted in a laboratory environment.
In our laboratory, accredited calibration of balometers, which measure air flow, is also performed. Balometers are used in similar fields as flow meters. The calibration of balometers is done using a specially manufactured tunnel and a reference balometer for comparison. The accredited calibration measurement range is 50 m³/h – 3000 m³/h.
